As a community based, non-profit organization, the Miami Valley Symphony Orchestra brings together accomplished and dedicated musicians to provide high quality performances to entertain, enrich and inspire the community and advance the knowledge and appreciation of music.

Get involved in your symphony as a musician, singer, actor, or community volunteer. We count on our community volunteers to assist with concert ushering, production assistance, hospitality, marketing, and fundraising. As a team, we work together to bring great music and great entertainment to our community.

The Miami Valley Symphony was founded in 1989 and is led by an accomplished and award winning conducting staff. Our musicians are current and retired professionals, educators, college students, and community members. Our Youth Orchestra serves students from beginner though high school skill levels. Our season consists of classical, pops, musical theater, and our free annual Christmas concert series.
