About the Giving Center
The purpose of the Giving Center is to make it quick and easy for associates to find and track service opportunities as well as make donations. The Giving Center puts everything you need in one place for giving your time and treasure, including the forms for Matching Gifts and Dollars for Doers. You can find volunteering opportunities and upcoming events, log service hours, donate to your cause of choice as well as track your offline donations. With the American Modern Giving Center, you will see the true impact of your service — whether it’s cleaning up litter in your neighborhood or donating to a food pantry.

We encourage you to upload photos that you have taken while volunteering. The pictures could be of the group of people you volunteered alongside, you in action doing what the nonprofit needed your help with or of a selfie of you in front of the nonprofit. The photos you upload will be able to be seen by the Admins of the Giving Center for use of staff volunteer promotion. Be sure to upload photos that you are okay with being used by American Modern. Also, be aware that the American Modern firewall will make it hard for you to upload photos while in the WiFi.
What kind of thoughts/reflections should I include when logging my volunteering hours and donations? How are these used?
This is a great way to capture how you felt and what you did while volunteering. This can include the impact you felt you made, what you learned while volunteering and your passion for a nonprofit that you enjoy volunteering for. This is a great way to share quotes that American Modern can use to help promote volunteerism within the company.
You can add hours for volunteering at nonprofits, serving on a nonprofit board or helping on a nonprofit committee. You can also track nonprofit donations and participation for events such as 5K’s.
