Our patients love having visitors, and your hour or two or more will brighten a patient's day! Looking for volunteers to hold a hand, share a story or listen to a few, chat, read, play music or games, or just share time together quietly. Gentiva Hospice will work with your schedule. Choose a time convenient for you and the patient. No special skills needed. Just people skills (Listening/communication and relationship building). Orientation and Training are provided. Driver’s License Required. Must be 18 years old to be a direct care volunteer.
