If you can offer a smile, hold a hand, share a hug, take a walk or simply listen – you can volunteer with us. Volunteers are <strong>LOVE</strong> in motion! Volunteers generously donate their time to enhance the quality of care provided to patients and their families. It doesn’t take much to be a hospice volunteer- just an everyday person with a <strong>Heart</strong> big enough to make a difference that lasts a lifetime. Gentiva Hospice is looking for compassionate and caring people to volunteer to visit with hospice patients. Our patients love having visitors, and your hour or two or more will brighten a patient’s day! Gentiva Hospice will work with your schedule. Orientation and Training will be provided. Must be 18 years old to be a Direct Care Volunteer. Driver’s License required. TB testing, Background check/ Fingerprinting and drug screening at Gentiva’s expense.
