Connected to Organization --- not set --- Opportunity Title DescriptionVisual TextEverHeart Hospice was started by a group of volunteers. Now, 43 years later, EverHeart Hospice has flourished thanks to those volunteers and their hard work and dedication. Volunteering is one of the most powerful ways to make a statement of joy and honor with your life. It provides the feeling that you are part of a team, making a positive difference in the world. EverHeart Hospice currently has a team of volunteers that serve our patients in many ways. Below you will find just a few examples, but we are always open to other skills you may offer to our agency as a volunteer. Under the Hospice Medicare Benefit, all hospice organizations must have 5% of their total patient care hours provided by volunteers. By becoming a volunteer at EverHeart Hospice, you can help us honor our patients’ lives with trusted care.
WAYS TO VOLUNTEER

Patient Socialization and Companionship

Caregiver Relief

Veteran Pinnings

Notary Services

Patient Flower Deliveries

Medication and Supply Deliveries

Serenity Visits

Pet Therapy

Patient Haircuts

Light Patient Housekeeping

Office Courier

Administrative Projects

Sewing

Candle Deliveries

Fundraising Events

Camp Encourage

Link to Learn More Text for Learn More Button Ways to Help Tags Type - In-person or Virtual plus other(s) In-person Virtual Answer Calls Collect Donations Delivery Food Distribution Food Packing Foster Animals Hotline Staff Indoor Maintenance Note Writing Other Outdoor Phone Calling Project-based Proofreading Research Skills-based Tech Support Tutoring Writing Ages 12-15 16-18 55+ Adults (18+) Child with Adult Children (5-12) Groups Corporate Teams Families Groups (10+) Groups (2-10) Individuals How Often One-time Ongoing Recurring Training Formal None On-site Skilled When Anytime Evenings Weekdays Weekends-- Parent -- Add New Keep Visible Until:
