Featuring Dr. Meyer from Endocrinology
It’s #MeetADocFriday and today we are featuring Dr. Meyer from endocrinology! As an endocrinologist, she sees patients with diabetes, growth and thyroid disorders and more.
Dr. Meyer is a pediatric endocrinologist at Dayton Children’s and a long-term Daytonian. After receiving her undergraduate degree at the University of Dayton, Dr. Meyer went on to receive her medical degree at Wright State University School of Medicine. In 2012, after completing her residency and endocrinology fellowship at Nationwide Children’s, Dr. Meyer came home to Dayton and joined the Dayton Children’s team.
Dr. Meyer enjoys endocrinology because of the immediate positive impact she can make in patients’ lives, and the excitement of new discoveries that can change the field. Outside of work, Dr. Meyer likes running, spending time with her family outdoors, and traveling!
