CommunicationsVolunteers skilled in communications are needed to help write press releases, work with local media, write and/or collect stories, edit and create visual media, and post to social media. All or part of this can be virtual. After an interview, volunteers must attend a 1-hour training course that goes over all the policies and procedures for helping us run America’s only peace museum!Guest ServicesVolunteers give tours to both individuals or groups, help with the front desk, plan and assist at live events. Outfitting Our Stage & StudioIn moving from the old house on Monument Ave to a modern, purpose-built 5,000 square foot new home directly overlooking Courthouse Square, we have made a giant leap. One area that we need both expertise and financial support is fully outfitting our new stage and studio for live and taped events. As the pandemic ebbs, we will bring live music, speakers, workshops, virtual and in-person events to this new and exciting space. We are currently shopping for lighting, sound equipment, and video cameras capable of live-streaming and taping every event at the Museum. |

| How you help | The Museum is made up of volunteers, all committed to the ideals of peace. People volunteer with the museum in many different ways from story writing to tour guides to raising awareness and support. |

| About us | The Dayton International Peace Museum is a non-profit, primarily volunteer organization and one of the few community-based institutions with a focus on peace in the United States. Our educational programs and exhibits are non-partisan and feature themes of nonviolent conflict resolution, social justice issues, international relations and peace. We honor Dayton’s history as the center for the 1995 Dayton Peace Accords and maintain this strong civic pride in all of our programming. |

The @UN must be allowed access to deliver urgent humanitarian assistance to Palestinian civilians trapped & helpless in the Gaza Strip.
I appeal to the international community to mobilize immediate humanitarian support for this effort.
