Our mission

Bottom Line serves as a relentless ally to degree-aspiring students from first-generation and low-income backgrounds as they get into college, graduate, and go far in life.

Opportunities

Go FAR Volunteer

We encourage meaningful, long-term connections by offering students the option to request a “Series of 3 Meetings” with a volunteer. This structured approach allows for focused support in key areas, fostering stronger, ongoing relationships that drive real impact.

While you can choose which meeting types you feel most comfortable with, being open to all options maximizes your potential to support and connect with students in meaningful ways.

How you help

As a Go Far Volunteer, you’ll become part of our vibrant community of staff, students, and fellow volunteers on Bottom Line Connect (BLC), our web-based networking platform. Through this platform, you’ll have the opportunity to mentor and support Bottom Line college students, providing valuable career guidance and professional insights to help them achieve their goals.

About us

Founded in 1997 on the belief that students are more likely to succeed with personalized guidance throughout their college journey, Bottom Line has been a steadfast partner to thousands of degree-aspiring students from first-generation and low-income backgrounds. In doing so, we work to improve college access and graduation rates in under-resourced communities.
