CASA Volunteer

A Preble County CASA (Court Appointed Special Advocate) is a volunteer who is appointed by the Preble County Juvenile Court to ensure that the needs of a child who may have been abused or neglected are met. In order to do this the volunteer must investigate the facts of the case, recommend a course of action to the court, facilitate the resolution of the presenting problems, and monitor progress toward established goals.

How you helpCASAs are community volunteers, just like you, who stand up and speak out to help abused and neglected children. Men and women who are willing to commit 2-4 hours per month to make a direct and lasting impact on our children. And make no mistake, these are OUR children. They are children you pass in the store or see on the playground. They are in the same classroom as your children and grandchildren. Like every child, these children need someone to step up and be their voice and to support them in their time of need.
About usPreble County CASA is a program of the Preble County Juvenile Court. In addition to local support, Preble County CASA is a part of the Ohio CASA Association and the National CASA Association.
