Congratulations on 2 years of service!👏
Ohio #CASA was honored to take part in recognizing the CASA of Portage County team on 2 years of service to children and their community.
For example, the program served 97 children, with volunteers giving around 2,600 hours in 2023.
CASA leaders gathered for Lucas Co. Children Services' forum on racial bias & its impact on children & families in the child welfare system.
200+ people attended, including directors from @casaoflima, Lucas & Wood Cos.
Trainings & community connections like this are essential.
