How you helpOur volunteers find their hearts full of emotion as often we are giving a child the very first bed of their own. Seeing parents’ eyes become teary with gratefulness fills a volunteer with a sense of overwhelming joy in being able to serve others while reminding them to appreciate the blessings in their own life. Seeing the children’s faces as they climb into their newly delivered beds is a moment not easily forgotten.
About usAt SHP, we fully believe that a bed is a basic need for the proper physical, emotional and mental support that a child needs. When it was brought to our attention that the need for beds went far beyond our own neighborhoods, we stepped up and took initiative. We’re a national organization answering the call to a national problem.
