Our mission

Brigid’s Path improves the health of newborn babies and mothers impacted by addiction. We offer grace for the past, support for the present, and hope for the future.

Opportunities

Volunteering

Specific requirements will depend on the position. Support and encourage moms and caregivers or assist in other areas such as laundry, cleaning, or the front desk. Must be 21+ and complete a background check.

Baby Cuddling

Commit to a minimum of 100 hours per year, most shifts will be in 3- or 4-hour increments. Specific requirements will depend on the position.

Mothers and Families

  • Personal hygiene items (shampoo, soap, deodorant, feminine care products) are always appreciated by our mothers.

Babies

  • Clothing must be new.  Our babies are very sensitive to odors that might be present with used items.
  • We accept handmade items, but please ensure only washable fibers are used. Our babies have very sensitive skin, so please use only soft fabrics and no fringe, buttons or accessory items that could irritate or be a choking hazard.
  • In-Kind Donations

Office and Cleaning Supplies

  • General office supplies, such as copy paper and black pens, are always appreciated.
  • Cleaning products and baby care items need to be unscented or have a very low odor, as our babies are very sensitive to odors.

We believe that each baby’s life has value and each deserves the very best treatment by our staff, volunteers, and visitors. Our volunteers are an important part of Brigid’s Path and it is important that we develop a program that will be successful for babies, their families, and our volunteers.

About us

We believe that each baby’s life has value and each deserves the very best treatment by our staff, volunteers, and visitors. We utilize the latest therapeutic techniques combined with pharmacological approaches to provide compassionate recovery for all patients. From December 2017 through June 2019, our army of more than 139 volunteers logged more than 15,000 hours.
