Urban Farming Kick-Off Event

🌱 In January 2025, an analysis of feedback by agencies, government staff, small farmers, social service agencies, nonprofits, and community advocates was released to the community. The feedback was from a brainstorming session held on October 30, 2024, hosted by the Urban Research Initiative as a vibrant Community Kick-Off Event for Cross Over Community Development’s Resilient Urban Farming Project! 🎉

The event introduced an exciting initiative to the community, discussed strategies for organizations to work together and welcomed bilingual educators and participants to join the mission of sustainable agriculture. The program offers classroom and online training that serves beginning and small farmers across Ohio and the nation and empowers New Americans.
