Lindy’s Bakery, Daybreak’s work-readiness program and dog treat bakery, provides ongoing volunteer opportunities for groups. Group members are expected to set a good example by modeling teamwork and effective communication while helping youth bake and package dog treats.

Our facilities department occasionally has opportunities for groups to assist with yardwork, deep cleaning, and other upkeep projects.

Volunteer areas include: cleaning/housekeeping, animal socialization, maintenance, landscaping/mowing, grooming/bathing, events/fundraising, and clinic. A short training session and safety class will be required for anyone who is wanting to Volunteer. You can help less fortunate kids in need by organizing a donation drive at school or work, or with your Scout, social or church group!

Helping as a general warehouse assistant by organizing toys, clothes, shoes, books, safety equipment and hygiene items.

Individuals or groups can assist in cutting, stuffing, and sewing (for those adept at sewing) our handmade teddy bears.

The weather is fantastic and we are looking for energetic volunteers to help with clean-up projects at our housing sites, including litter collection, planting flowers, small scale landscaping, etc. This is a great project for groups and individuals!

We are in need of volunteers to weed, water plants, pick produce, build additional beds, and plant for the upcoming season. Great for individuals and groups.
