The center has a zero-turning radius mower and other lawn care equipment available. You can either volunteer to work in the yard by mowing, plant care, weeding (weed eating), pruning, etc. Just let a staff member know you’re interested. Mowing needs to be done at least once per week, as does weed eating.

On the 3rd Friday of the month the center has a bake sale. We always need folks to volunteer to make baked goods to be sold during the sale. The proceeds go to purchase an item(s) for the center. The Way and Means & Bake Sale Committees decide what the proceeds go for. Your time…

Greet families, answer phones, coordinate connections with Care Guides, provide general clerical and support for daily operations.

Help maintain and remodel PCN’s office and meeting spaces to keep pace with our ever-changing needs as we grow.

We provide 14 meals a week (breakfast and dinner daily), and need volunteers for dinners 7 days a week. We currently do not have a full kitchen (only a warming kitchen) and so we rely on people, groups, churches, and families to bring food in to serve each night.

Assist with the planning and execution of fundraisers such as Walk to End Alzheimer’s, The Longest Day and Memory Day, Committee member tasks include recruiting team members, raising revenue, increasing awareness and implementing event activities.

Do you have experience filming or editing videos? We’re looking for help in telling the stories of families in need in Dayton.

We have many ongoing projects and could always use your help. There are opportunities for all, including facility and land maintenance and upgrades, animal care, gardening, facility management and so much more. There is room for everyone and you will be thanked with lots of animal cuddles!
