On the 3rd Tuesday of every month the Dayton Food Bank come to the Fairborn Senior Center. We always need volunteers to help pass out food. The Food Bank is open 10:00am – 12:00pm, we ask volunteers to arrive at 9:30am to help.

These volunteers simply ensure their activity is ready and to turn in sign-up sheets and collect activity fee to ensure it is given to the finance department.

The center has a zero-turning radius mower and other lawn care equipment available. You can either volunteer to work in the yard by mowing, plant care, weeding (weed eating), pruning, etc. Just let a staff member know you’re interested. Mowing needs to be done at least once per week, as does weed eating.
